We look for curiosity and commitment rather than experience. If you are open to learning, there is a place for you.

WHY JOIN PARS

A place where you can apply what you learn in class to a real vehicle.

At Pars an idea does not stay on the whiteboard: it gets drawn, built, tested and taken into the field. We are a team where making mistakes — and learning from them — is normal.

There are 21 of us, from a range of departments. You might debate software at the same table as a mechanical engineer, sit in on a sponsor meeting, or prepare the vehicle on the TEKNOFEST field.

OPEN DEPARTMENTS

You choose which department you would like to work in when you apply. If you are undecided, that is fine too — we work it out together.

  • Mechanical

We design and build the vehicle's load-bearing structure and drive system. Geometry that starts as an idea is first modelled in CAD, then becomes a real chassis in the workshop.

  • Electronics

We build the vehicle's power and data infrastructure. Battery and power distribution, motor drivers, connecting the sensors and board design are this department's responsibility.

  • Software

We develop the vehicle's decision-making. The software that processes sensor data to make sense of the surroundings, spots obstacles and replans the route, and drives the vehicle autonomously, is written in this department.

  • Organisation

We are the team's face to the outside world. Sponsorship meetings, corporate communications, planning technical visits and events, and internal coordination are run by this department.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

  1. 01

    Apply

When applications are open we ask about you, your interests and which department you would like to join. No experience required.

  2. 02

    Interview

We hold a short introductory conversation with shortlisted candidates. There is no technical exam; we talk about your interests and the time you can commit.

  3. 03

    Join the team

You are placed in a department and start with small tasks on current projects. You begin building while you learn.
